Re: IL--Beth Bentley
Hey True Crime Lovers, I have a great case for you to research and attempt to wrap your brain around. I will post snippets and links to the missing person case of Bennedetta "Beth" Bentley. She went missing SUPPOSEDLY in Centralia, Illinois on 5/23/10. However, that scenario seems unlikely. Please feel free to delve into this and see what you can come up with since LE isn't exactly on top of the case. LOL There has not been much reporting done on this case since June and seems to be at a stand still. Let me know what you think and see what you can come up with??? Happy Sleuthing!! Ann

Re: IL--Beth Bentley
Here are a few links to get started.... Beth and a friend Jenn Wyatt rented a car from Woodstock, Illinois to travel to Mt. Vernon, Illinois to visit Jenn's boyfriend. Beth and Jenn were supposed to drive back on Sunday 5/23/10 to Woodstock and "Supposedly" Jenn wanted to stay another night so she "Supposedly" took Beth to the Amtrak train station in Centralia where Beth would take the train to St. Louis and then catch the train from Union Station back to Woodstock. Beth Bentley has never been seen since... There is no corroboration that she was ever in Centralia on 5/23 or ever got on the train. There are so many numerous theories, speculation, innuendo attached to this case, it has dumbfounded me since I came across it a couple days ago. Enjoy, please let's keep this going for Beth!!
Question 1: I'm not sure I get why you would rent a car instead of driving your own car??
Question 2: I can't comprehend in any way why she didn't drive the rental car home and let Jenn take the train since she was the one that wanted to stay and didn't like to drive in the 1st place......
Question 3: If you are supposed to attend your son's graduation, would you even think to take the train home instead of drive yourself? I have a hard time grasping that she would have taken a train supposedly and the hubby says she never even mentioned taking the train????
I believe everyone here has been posting at WS for a long time, check out the info they have also. The thread is now closed due to the same ole BS from some fools, however, lot's of interesting info to be obtained......
Again, Just my rambling........
